If you’ve been fantasizing about a cleaning fairy who shows up, miraculously, in the middle of the night to clean your house, I can relate.
I’ve spent hours dreaming up various chore charts for my family to lighten my load, and wondered what it would be like to have somebody else take care of the parts of the home that I just never seem to get to. At one point, I even downsized our dishes to one item per household member, but even THAT didn’t keep my house under control!

The bottom line is, none of us ever get to everything on our daily to-do list, and keeping the house clean and tidy tends to be at the bottom for most of us. If it’s not a busy life getting in the way, it’s physical limitations. I had a severe leg break a decade ago, which forced me to be sedentary for six months. . . I tried a cleaning company, but I never felt that they really understood my “must haves”.

For me, it’s floors.
I can’t STAND dirty floors. I absolutely love being barefoot and the feeling of dirt or grit under my feet at home is non-negotiable. Clean floors are right up there with dark roast coffee and playing music too loud for life’s “must haves” in my world.
